Biting the bullet

Well, we’re going to try out the WildBlue through Dish Network for internet.  *Sigh*.  It feels like a defeat.  I have only heard good things about Satellite internet from one person, and all the anecdotes online are negative.  But at least it is something.

    Hey Patrick,
    Hopefully that works out for you. I have been kicking around the idea to try and get wireless internet going in parts of Ste Genevieve county. Are there currently any providers other than satellite and dial-up in Bloomsdale?

    Its been a long time since we talked.

    As far as I know, there is AT&T DSL along the Highway 61 corridor, and brick.net / Dexter Wireless had a thing in Lake Forest. Don’t know if that is operational.
